OLCT IR infrared Gas Detector

Introducing the rugged and reliable OLCTIR Gas and Flame Detector
Offshore platforms, petrochemical and chemical industries, naval installations, waste water treatment plants… in these types of environments, infrared technology is very often the only solution. The OLCT IR is built to withstand these harsh environments, which require the most efficient gas and flame detection.

MultiXplo DG-TX7 Catalytic Point Gas Detector

The MultiXplo DG-TX7 employs a pair of OXYCOL catalytic sensors in a compensated circuitry in order to provide reliable flammable gas detection in harsh environments, as long as oxygen is present. The intelligent microprocessor driven unit is fully configurable using a wireless handheld terminal (TLU) or optionally via HART giving true flexibility to the installer.

Parameters such as relay operation and alarm levels are all set via the TLU; a hazardous area approved hand-held unit. In addition, the sensor element is protected by the onboard electronics to prevent exposure to over-range LEL gas concentrations. This helps reduce on-going maintenance and service costs.

Users can select between 4-20 and 0-22mA depending on system requirements. The unit may be interfaced directly with a wide range of panels, controllers and PLC’s etc.

Device status, including measured gas level is indicated on a color coded 4 digit LED display.

MultiTox DG-TT7-S MOS Toxic Gas Detector

The DG-TT7-S is a solid-state metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) gas detector used mainly for the detection of hydrogen sulphide in arid locations having air present. The DG-TT7-S can also be configured for other gases, such as refrigerants (e.g. R22) . The unit employs a robust sensing element that needs recalibration just once a year. In addition the device does not need a high gas concentration dose to reactive the active sensing material.

The intelligent, microprocessor driven unit is fully configurable using a wireless hand-held terminal (TLU) or by using the hard wired HART option giving true flexibility to the installer. Elements such as relay operation and alarm levels are all set via the TLU; a hazardous area approved hand-held unit. The unit may be interfaced directly with a wide range of panels, controllers and PLC’s etc. The device offers HART Protocol 7th edition output as an option.

Portable Gas Detection

PS200 Series Portable Gas Detector

Detecting and displaying up to 4 gases simultaneously, PS200 is suitable for a host of applications in a variety of industries. The PS200 can be configured to detect a combination of Methane, Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, as well as other flammable gases.

Pre-entry checking can be carried out with the optional internal sampling pump, and diffusion operation ensuring maximum battery life in confined spaces.

PS1 Single Gas Detector

The PS1 monitors a single gas, for a variety of applications. Widely used in the oil and gas industry, this rugged, extremely lightweight and accurate monitor clips easily onto a collar or vest. This puts the instrument near the breathing zone for maximum user protection and safety. Audible, visual, and vibrating alarms alert the user, should gas be present and alarms can be latching until the user acknowledges that an alarm is present.

PS1 ABC Station

The multifunctional Auto Bump/Calibration station provides simple but intelligent testing and calibration of the the PS1 portable gas detector. Easy to use, with a durable, user friendly design, this automated test station offers high performance from a PC or stand-alone unit.

PS200 ABC Station

The multifunctional Auto Bump/Calibration (ABC) station provides simple but intelligent testing and calibration of the PS200 portable gas detector. Easy to use, with a durable, user friendly design, this automated test station offers high performance from a PC or stand-alone unit.

PS500 ABC Station

To provide accurate performance and results, the PS500 has to be properly used and maintained.The Auto Bump & Calibration Station (ABC) provides bump testing, calibration and data management options and is compact, robust and intuitive to use.

Two versions of the ABC are available allowing either a single gas cylinder or up to three cylinders to be connected. Additionally, a special three cylinder version is available for reactive gases.

Controllers

MX43 Analog and Digital Controller

Fully scalable, the MX 43 is an analog and digital controller designed to continuously measure and control gases in the atmosphere. The MX 43 gas detector manages both digital lines and analog channels, and covers all needs for a wide variety of gas monitoring applications. The MX 43 digital technology allows up to 32 detectors to be distributed on 8 lines for increased cost savings.

MX 32 Analog and Digital Controller

The new MX 32 manages both digital lines and analog channels and covers all needs for a wide variety of gas monitoring applications. Its digital technology allows up to eight detectors to be distributed on two lines for increased savings. The unit allows two inputs for Wheatstone bridge sensors

Flame Detectors

MultiFlame DF-TV7-T Multi-Spectrum Flame Detector

The MultiFlame DF-TV7–T is designed to respond to unwanted hydrocarbon fires, while maintaining a high degree of false alarm immunity. The device offers a wide range of output options, as standard and is suitable for use in SIL 3 applications. The unit may be interfaced directly with a wide range of fire panels, controllers and PLC’s etc.

The unit is fully configurable using a wireless hand-held terminal (TLU) or optionally via HART (R) giving true flexibility to the installer. Time delays, sensitivity and output configuration are all set up via the TLU; a hazardous area approved hand-held unit.

Wireless testing of the optical and output circuits are also possible using the TLU.

MultiFlame DF-TV7-V Multi-Spectrum UV/2IR Flame Detector

The device offers a wide range of output options, as standard and is suitable for use in SIL 2 applications. The detector can be configured to communicate with a wide range of fire panels, controllers, and PLCs and offer HART 7 and Syntel (Lonworks) protocols for addressable event monitoring. The devices come standard with a configurable 4-20mA or 0-22mA (PLC) output, two configurable alarm relays, and two detector status LEDs.

All MultiFlame detectors are equipped with a continuous optical lens auto-check to ensure that the optical path is clear and that the detector functions properly. Sensors can be replaced easily in the field without removing any cable glands. Devices are easy to test and configure using a TLU600 wireless hand-held unit that is approved for use in hazardous areas. The TLU600 can also be used for wireless testing of the optical and output circuits. The TLU600 can also be used for wireless testing of the optical and output circuits.

The SERVOFLEX Micro i.s is a single component Intrinsically Safe Portable Gas Analyser that is certified to zone 0 and zone 1.

Technology Used

Oxygen – a choice of two Servomex paramagnetic transducers (standard or high accuracy) both offering fast selective measurement of oxygen without the disadvantages of electrochemical or zirconia cells.

Headline Filters

Headline Filters produce a wide range of products for the filtration industry, from filter elements, for coalescing or particulate duty, in a wide variety of industry-standard sizes to filter housings in a variety of materials for pressures up to 700 bar. To complement these products, we also offer a range of Membrane Separator housings for those applications requiring zero liquid entrainment.

Also available are disposable inline filters which offer the user a cost-effective and easy-to-replace robust filter suitable for portable analyser systems.

Headline Filters also produce adsorption products in a variety of forms, ideal for last-chance air purification and analyser protection. Disposable types eliminate the need to handle loose adsorbents although re-fillable versions are also available. Many different adsorbents are available to cater for virtually all requirements.
